An excited grin crossed Landon's lips as Alice replied to his message with an okay,but on the other side of town she was really freaking out about the messy situation she put herself in.
It was like being in the middle of a fork and not knowing which way to go,but in this case she just had to pick which man she would go out with after saying yes to both of them.
Bailing on Luther meant breaking her promise—twice, bailing on Landon would definitely hurt him and might paint the notion that she just wants to do it on purpose.
She sighed deeply and finally ignited the engine of the car when she noticed someone staring intently at her with the corner of her eye.
His face really looked familiar and when their eyes met,he sort of panicked and briskly walked away leaving her to wonder why he was acting creepy in the first place.
