Sharing a few talks with Helder and mending our stumbling bonds, I returned to my room where Saafia was holding the bouquet close to her chest, she plucked a rose out and tugged it behind her ears.

When my eyes fell on her, my heart skipped a beat, indulging how angelic she was looking in the composure.

“What happened? Is everything alright? Why did you make me go inside?” She asked, rising from the bed quickly when I entered with slight worry.

“Yeah, everything is alright, vex not. He was asking to place everything behind.”

Exhaling, I loosened my tie and took a seat, running my fingers through my hair to wonder why he did this.

Or maybe he truly became good? I had no idea.

“So what did you say?”

“It felt strange, I didn’t expect him to mend bonds but I kept my beautiful wife in my mind and decided to follow what she must have.”

Returning a smile, I plucked a few rose petals and threw them at her with a grin. Everything related to her or about her urged me to follow that path.
