Grabbing her purse and phone she bid goodbye to her colleagues. Today she was more tired than any other day.

Rubbing the back of her neck Avery looked at her phone screen. "It's 6.05 pm, I will call a cab."

Thinking so as she was about to do it, all of a sudden she saw the familiar car stopping just right in front of her eyes.

Avery looked away as she saw her husband staring at her from inside the car. She was standing on the street just in front of the office building. And not many people were around but still, she wanted to be careful, especially after what happened today.

She didn't tell anyone anything about her rumoured rich boyfriend but she knew soon, she would have to say it.

"Get in the car."

His stern voice came to be heard.

Avery looked away and answered in a serious tone, "I will go in a cab."

"Don't be stubborn."

Upon hearing him she looked at him annoyed, they both didn't blink their eyelids as they were having eye contact as in having a war.
