Unaware of Rian's presence, Laura waved her hand in Riley's face and with a raised brow asked, “You sounded so worried back there, why aren't you saying anything now?”

“Actually, I was just trying to pull your legs.” Riley said with a wink trying to act natural before Rian who was resting against the wall with his hands tucked in his pockets and his gaze fixed on her.

“It's high time you grow up. You made me worried for no reason.” Laura scoffed, glaring angrily at her. A while ago, she was thinking Riley had something serious to say to her only to hear it was all a prank.
