The bag felt heavier than usual on my arm, probably didn’t even need the old thing but it just felt right while I threw in every single thing I could lay my hands on.

The puff of air escaped forcefully from my lips the moment I lugged the heavy ass luggage out the door.

As if every force was against my ‘graceful’ pull at the bag handle, my curls decided to remind me why I needed to shave the entire thing off in the first place. I let the bag slip from my fingers and yanked the stray strand of hair behind my ear just in time to see Christian exit the house.

His hair was swept back as usual, neatly combed too but not obsessive kind of neat though, it was more I tried but I don’t need to try too much, well, that about summed him up when I really thought about it.

I fought the urge to wave at him as our eyes met, I already looked like the blushing bride with my finger twirling a strand of hair behind my ear as I watched him close the distance.
