“I…I was scared.” Casey said while shaking her head, trying to walk away from the scene but Logan stopped her. “You can’t go out without telling me the reason why you have to do this with me, and with your best friend.”

Casey answered, “She’s not my best friend anymore.”

I felt speechless as she said that and then she stepped back, and walked away from us. Liam sighed, “Just leave her alone, let's focus on the real case here. So who was the one who kidnapped you, Charlotte?”

"Liam, why do you ask so many questions? I'm now on my payback pace, and you, and even Logan, can't stop me." I gave them the stink eye.

"Charlotte, don't forget that we are a team here!" Liam sighed. "Angel also needs justice for her parents too, and not just you!”

I bit my bottom lip as I thought about the child, who is Arman's daughter. I saw how she begged for help and tried to save her dad.
