3. She Is My Light

Santiago’s POV

After our meal, we took a stroll in the park while maintaining complete silence. She looked so peaceful while walking in the park, then I softly said, “Beatrice.”

Her hair waves so pretty as she turns her head at me, and her eyes sparkle in the sun. In the darkest parts of my life, her smile can make everything better. As I got closer, I told her, "I think it's time for you to go home."

She nodded her head then said, “Thank you, sir.”

“I’ll see you tomorrow then.”

I couldn't stop staring at her as she waved goodbye. Eventually, she got into a cab and waved goodbye once more before it left.

As I felt my heartbeat, the thought crossed my mind, "Damn! I don't have time for this!"

I walked to my car to the garage and received a call from Jeric. “Yes, Jeric.”
