34. Murderer

Abby’s POV

"Dad, I have to go. This might not be the best time to talk to you." I said it quietly and bowed my head. Elisha and Faye turned their sharp eyes on me. They don't really want me here, so I don't have to try to stay away from them. I have to show them that I don't need my Dad to live on my own.

“Abby, you don’t have to go, we can still talk to each other if you want.”

Faye sighed, “Dad! Let her go!”

"I'll file for a divorce if you talk to that filthy daughter of yours!" Elisha threatened my Dad, and I don't want my actions to hurt my Dad's family.

I left my Dad's office and got on the elevator, thinking that I needed to get away from all this drama because it wasn't making me better.

I stopped at the front door and called a taxi to take me to my apartment. When I got there, I saw some men watching me. I ran away and thought badly of them. What if they're sent to kill me? Who are these people, anyway?

I took a deep breath, put all my strength into it, and started looking
