Charlotte’s POV

“What are you trying to say? I’m marrying your brother—-and that’s the plan.” I avoided looking him in the eyes and walked away from him. Then I put all my items at the cashier, and after I paid for that, I went outside with everything I had purchased.

I saw Cedric smiled at me and offered, “I can take you home, Charlotte.”

I tried to get away from him by walking as quickly as I could and staying out of his way, but he was always right behind me, so I eventually turned around to face him and said. "No problem, I'll just go home by myself. You do no need to be concerned about me; instead, you should be concerned about Casey and apologize for everything you have done to hurt her."

Cedric was tired of hearing what I had to say, so he replied with a blank face. "Why do you worry about her so much? She no longer cares about you because she cares more about me than you. That is, you were never friends with her."
