51. Sorry Not Sorry

Miguel’s POV

"What? Is she all right?"

This afternoon, I asked Brandon what happened to Abby. I had just heard that Abby's friend was shot and killed. My main worry is about Abby. I'm scared that she might not be okay.

"Yes, she is fine, and she is now with Fabian. We still don't know who tried to kill her."

I drank my whiskey and said, "We will investigate about it,"

“Sure, boss.”

Then I hung up the phone and rested on my bed. If this wasn't about the code, then it was about a person of interest. Fabian's ex-girlfriends will be the ones who want Abby to be killed. I scoffed because I could already see it in my mind.

"How funny!" I gave a soft smirk and got the gun out of my drawer. Then I got my car ready to find Eliza.

Then I stopped at the bar I owned near the Sirena’s Hotel. I saw Xander with his new girlfriend making out inside his car. That asshole.
