74. The Ugly Truth

Fabian’s POV

"She was?" This time, I spoke more slowly and clearly as I looked at my wife's doctor's pale, nervous face. He sighed and slowly shook his head. "I'm sorry, Mr. Collins, but we did everything we could to save the baby, but we couldn't." Then after he said that, he left me in private.

I sat on the floor slowly, put my hand on my head, and shook my head in anger. I can't find the words to describe how I feel right now.

I have to ask Abby every doubt, and she has to tell me every detail about who killed our child. No one who gets in my way will ever get my forgiveness.
