Charlotte’s POV

"Yes, Logan." I let out a sigh and tried not to cry in front of him, but I couldn't help it. It made me look so weak and sorry for myself in front of him because I didn't know how to handle this. "But that doesn't matter anymore, and that's enough for you to know," I said as I looked up, and breathed softly.

“Why did you hide this from me? I deserve to know the truth.” He said.

“I have already told you the truth, Logan. What else do you want? Do you want to know how I survived the two bullets in my chest?” I laughed sarcastically and shook my head, “I’m sure you couldn’t handle knowing the truth.”

“Then tell me about it.” he urged.

“Why would you want to know?! I don’t want to go back telling you about that anymore. I want to forget that night ever happened to me!”
