Celeste Woke Up

Two doctor's assistants came out with small bundles in their hands, and then a medical bed was pushed out, followed by Dean and Andreas.

Celeste lay there with a pale-looking face and a slightly heaving chest that told everyone that she was still alive.

Old madam Davis didn't go to see the two babies first, but ran to Celeste's bed in a few steps. Her tears couldn't stop flowing, her trembling fingers gently stroked Celeste's pale cheeks and fell over the girl's forehead, then kissed her softly, "Thank you, dear."

"Grandmother, I really owe you a lot."

Mr. Alroy rushed to the other side of Celeste's bed and looked at his daughter with bloodshot eyes. He said nothing but looked at Celeste.

Dean, still with his hoarse voice said, "Grandma, father-in-law, Celeste is fine. Let her rest well."

The old madam wiped her tears and responded, "Yes, let Celeste sleep well. This child has really fought too hard."
