Trying to Find an Enemy

Unseen pressure made Scarlett feel uncomfortable. The rejection made her angry and embarrassed.

 How could Dean compare her uncle to a normal employee? When Davis Company started in their early days, they were just a small start-up company. Without these founding employees, they would never have grown their business to where it stands today. Scarlett felt that her uncle could be considered one of the biggest favors to the Davis Company. Mr. Blue might even have more abilities than Dean, but looking at the current situation, her uncle no longer had a chance to fight back. Was it too much to ask for forgiveness and treat the man like a favor?

While Scarlett might have a lot of ideas in mind and disagree with Dean's decision, the power was in Dean's hands now. No matter what, it was not yet time to cross swords with the man.
