21. Caught

"Don't... Don't hurt him"

hearing Nicholas' moans of pain frightened Violet. Cause this man looked like he was going to kill him.

Still in the man's arms with her legs dangling as he carried her in a bridal style, Violet glanced over Victor's broad shoulders and saw Nicholas slumped to the ground. A mysterious woman stood before him. It was as if she was amused with the sight of his pain.

Victor looked at the fragile body in his arms without any specific emotion. He actually wouldn't bother hurting Nicholas, just that momentarily incapacitating him was needed to get her "if that's what you want"

Nicholas slowly stopped growling. Victor started to move. His movements were agile and he moved under the shadow of the dark woods. Violet saw Nicholas' figure fade away and finally disappeared of her sight.

In her desperation she could do nothing. She had tried to think of various ways to get out of Victor's grasp but it seemed all of that would be in vain.
