Sybil sighed looking up from the book that she was reading through. Her gaze looked over the back of the soft couch she was sitting on. Her gaze was thoughtful and looked out the window. She rubbed her healed shoulder. Just a faint pink scar now.
Several days had passed since the incident with Varla. She knew that Aries had killed her. Sybil wished he didn’t have to but she also understood. As much as Sybil wished there wasn’t violence in the world. in this one you could not afford to be soft. Aries couldn’t, all she could hope was that it was just and decisions were made fairly. She may have angered her, but Sybil was not one for cruelty.

Aries came back into the keep leaving the ones he’d been with. It would seem that his people were very serious about wanting to have their festivities again. He was fine with it, he wanted it too.
