At least from Rosalie's perspective, the trip to the Greystone Estate was completely uneventful. She refused to make eye contact with Alex, who was sitting right beside her in the black limo, and she kept her hands folded in her lap the entire time. They were by themselves. She was completely at a loss for words. Everything seemed so unbelievable.

The rest of the Greystone pack was ecstatic that their alpha had finally found a mate after spending many years of his life alone; they celebrated as if they had just returned from a successful battle. They were followed by a long procession consisting of seven Mercedes cars and four identical limos that had their windows heavily obscured.
