Chapter-33*A Flower From Alpha Shane*

I got back to the mansion and went straight into Shane's room to rest. The maid had told me that my mother was in his room with Yuna. When I entered the room, I saw Shane working on his laptop while sitting on the bed. My mother was on the couch, feeding Yuna a bottle of milk.

"Ah, you're back. Have you been crying?" Mom asked as soon as she saw my tear-streaked face.

"I'm fine. Thank you for taking care of her," I said as I took Yuna from her hands and settled down with her on my lap.

I noticed Shane discreetly lifting his head from his laptop to observe us talking.

"You should get some rest now, Mom," I suggested, keeping my head down.

She gently ran her hand through my tangled hair before acknowledging Shane and exiting the room.

As soon as she left, Shane closed his laptop, quickly got off the bed, and approached me.

"Where were you?" he inquired, kneeling down in front of me. This was an uncommon gesture from him.
