Chelsey's POV

I haven't replied to Aiden's calls and texts most of the time he tried reaching out to me. I would just smirk, at other times laugh and drop the phone. I'll give him a difficult time so he realizes that things have changed, I'm not who I used to be. Sunshine is on my laps, gisting me. He's a great story teller and I love him for this, from his old schoolfriends to new, his teacher and all he can ever talk of, he tells me all of them.

Sunshine is the pride of my life, my joy in my youth, I brush his hair, trailing my fingers over my face. I kiss him on the forehead, he giggles.

"Mommy, I love you and I know you love me, I wish you had someone that loved you."

"What do you mean?" I'm amazed to hear this from him, since he isn't straight in his request, I pretend as if I don't get what he is saying. He gives me a suspicious smile.

"I know you get what I'm saying, you're just kidding."
