OLIVIA'S POV

My eyes met with Luciens and even though he had annoyed me earlier, I still wanted to talk to him and the way he was avoiding me was kind of disheartening but I tried my very best to act as though I didn't care.

I didn't know if it was just me but it felt as if he was a little bit disheartened, seeing me and Kay together but I pretended not to notice and just acted like everything was perfectly normal when it wasn't one bit.

He walked over to me after Kay left for his car. I was happy that he still decided to come see me but my ego skyrocketed and I had to pretend once again that I didn't care that he was there.
