Winter takes me to this stunning park, where a meandering stream winds its way amidst a colourful carpet of wildflowers. He chooses a spot by the stream, where the floral scents and the fragrance of freshly cut grass surround us, as he pulls me close against his chest. It’s so different from how things were this morning that it almost seems like two different people.

“You went to the Crimson Moon pack. What’s it like there?” Winter asks eagerly as I lean back against his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat. I blink several times. I don’t exactly want to discuss it. “Its different. I told you this,” he leans down and places a soft kiss on my temple, holding me tight. “I know, but babe, the only people that go there are in body bags. You lived to actually see the place. Spill what monsters lurk behind those walls?” he asks devilishly as I smirk. It’s true other than myself, mum and dad no one goes there. It’s one thing I found odd.
