Chapter- 65

After Daven asked her to leave his chamber, Selena gathered her stuff in a small suitcase. She was then escorted to the maid's chamber as she has no place in the pack house to dwell and she doesn't want to continue living there as his mistress so the only choice she has now is to live in this tiny room and work endlessly until she finally gets her freedom one day. No one here gives her any special treatment just because she lived with Daven for all these days. The head maid treats her just like the others and she does everything she asks her to do.

After coming here, Selena came out of the trance in which she considered that she will be happy one day. Her reality is far different.

Because of the hailstorm, everyone stayed in their respective bunkers and Selena could hear what the other maids were talking in the neighboring bunkers. It’s so hard to fall asleep in here, the walls were too thin and often the maids’ lovers come here to sleep with them. In this past one week, whenever she
