A Trouble Pack

I can't count how many glasses of alcohol I consumed, all just to prove to Turstin that I could very well hold my alcohol level. But then, the more I drank, the more I felt like I was moving on cloud nine. I laughed out loud at every word Turstin said without feeling nervous. I made jokes which also made him laugh as well.

This isn't me. These are the things I only wished I could do, but then I couldn't do them because I was too shy to. Now I understand why Greg always wanted me a little tipsy during our presentation. He always told me that I was too stiff, and I needed alcohol to loosen up.

At first, I thought about all of Greg's plots to get me into drinking. But now that I'd drunk enough, I realized that Greg was right after all.

“Gael, I never would have thought that you were such a free soul when you were drunk and, to be honest, I like you this way. I like who you are when you are drunk. Maybe you should get drunk more often,” Turstin said, and we both laughed out loud.
