***Gael's POV***

“I missed you, Gael,” he said without a second wait.

“No, no, no. You can't be serious. I mean, you can't be here without informing. I understand that you must have thought of doing this to surprise me, but I'm seriously not liking this surprise at all.”

“So, what do you want me to do? You want me to drive all the way back home in the middle of the night when it's raining cats and dogs?”

“That's not what I meant. Oh, God!!” I quickly jumped out of bed and began pacing from one end of my room to the next. What should I do with Turstin!

“Tell me, where exactly are you right now?”
