Coming For Her

5:00 in the morning.

I had implored Ruby to let me stay the night at her place and she agreed.

She woke me up when she was getting ready to resume the clinic and I decided to leave as well before daylight set in completely.

I pulled the hood over my head properly as I jogged down the street hoping to sneak inside before the Alpha woke up.

I sniffled the cold wind as it brushed against my face. I was almost at the Mansion when I saw some of the pack members and warriors sprinting to the training ground.

I veered off in that direction at once, deciding to take another route.

Covering my face this much by this time of the day might arose suspicion so I loosened the strings and pulled the hood off my face. The mistake I made was doing that while walking so fast and carelessly.

Before I knew it, I bumped into someone who fell right back on the floor with a sharp cry.

I staggered back immediately trying to render an apology and then two feminine figures stared up at me.
