The cold breeze was blowing hard when Lycan and I returned to the foot of the cave.

When we draw nearer we met , to out awe, Larvene standing just beside a pure quartz.

Immediately I frowned when I saw her but Lycan didn't let out any expression, as always.

Instead he pulled me more closer to himself then approached his brother's wife.

The lady was shivering under the cold. Now that I stood a few steps away from her I realized she was putting on only her nightdress.

" Lycan " She said softly when she saw my husband. Slowly I detached myself away from the big bad wolf and stare at my past friend.

" Hmm? "

" Don't start Amelia. I'm here for help and not for your husband " Larvene reported and I frowned slightly. " It's Maynard, your doing "

" I did nothing. Maynard is only crazy "

" He is crazy about you. You are the one who makes him thinks there will be a chance for him once I am out of the way "

My jaw flopped open at her words and I rolled my eyes.

" I never meant those wo
