Hand Me A Favor

Into the dim yellow warm light, I'm aware of someone sliding into the barstool next to mine.

Perhaps a man or woman, I don't care, I'm not here to have a social activity or get laid, I'm here because any alternative plan will make me crawl back to the pit of that shitty hole I come from. Robin might be on her way here.

The bartender comes over, and his eyes glistening, not with tears; he glances at the person sitting next to me with a stunned expression. He gets me in my curious state.

"What can I get you, Sir?"

"Some Rum, Wally." The low male voice is soothing to hear.

I give the man a quick look.

"Hello there." I find it a mistake for him to utter a greeting my way.

I scowl, and it grows more severe as he smiles at me casually, displaying her perfect white set of teeth. I'm so ready to jump into him and bite his head off. I glare at him, and he turns his head matching my glare. I have an actual glimpse of his handsome face. He is good-looking, downright good-looking for that matter:
