Chapter Hundred And Thirteen

MARCUS POV

Nothing could have prepared me for what I fortunately witnessed. Actually, I didn't even know I needed preparation for it but as I saw Lauren urging Aria to follow her into the garden, I was so glad I followed because I wasn't sure what I would have done otherwise.

Fortunately, I was there to stop Lauren on time as she smashed a rock on Aria.

I felt my heart tearing apart as I saw Aria fall to the ground. Seeing getting hit hurt me so much, it made me ache and I didn't want such harm to come her way.

After taking care of Lauren, I bent down over to were her unconscious body laid. I shook her and called out her name but she didn't respond.

I should have acted sooner and faster, she shouldn't have been hit at all.

She didn't answer my call, her eyes were shut and she was unmovable. I've never seen her like that expect when I sneak into her room and watch her sleep.
