ARIA POV

I was mad at Marcus.

He was acting just the way he's been doing ever since I met him. I thought he had changed but no, it's back to his plotting and mischievous ways.

I tried avoiding him, I want him to know I was mad at him but he suddenly corners me in the hall way.

Most of the maids have left to prepare for a big occasion that's very important to us but I was feeling somewhat down so I decided to retire to my room but I found Marcus waiting for me there.

I guess I won't be having any peace because he definitely doesn't want that and whatever he wants, goes.
