KILLIAN POV"Do you think I have no dignity whatsoever? You think I'll be frightened by a mere punk who seems to have a little more strength than he shouldn't?" Alpha Matthias said, still proving to be stubborn. I was getting fed up with him. I need her to be safe, I was growing anxious by the minute and it's proving difficult to control myself because of it."I mean, this isn't about dignity, you fool! It's about your life! I'll kill you if you don't spit it out! Where is my Luna!" I yelled."Alright, listen listen, how much is that punk Killian paying you? I can double it." He wanted to strike a deal with me and that left me speechless. I stared at him for a moment, not believing what I was hearing.I scoffed, "You want to bribe me into betraying my Alpha?" I asked, finding it partially amusing."He's your Alpha but not the moon goddess! Come on now, you can switch packs. You can come over here and I'll make sure you get everything you need for a good life in my pack. A house under
DARIUS POV"How could she do this?" I yelled and slammed my fist on the table. "Bring me the person she met," I ordered, the guard bowed and then left, and 10 minutes later he came back to the room with the chief maid."What did she ask you?" I asked, she was shivering, thinking she had done something wrong. "She wanted to know about Stella's relative." She answered while shaking. Why would Aria what to meet with that traitors family?"Don't lie to me, tell me what really happened. There no way Aria would concern herself over a traitor like Stella." I yelled sternly and that frightened her even more."I'm telling the truth Alpha Killian. That's what she really asked and nothing else." She was shivering pathetically like she had a cold and the sight really got me angry but it also reassured me that she wasn't lying to me. Damnit Aria. Why did you have to disobey Killian! Now look what happened. The information was leaving me dry but I wondered if she left the castle to go see them.
DARIUS POV"She wanted to talk with Stella's daughter but unfortunately I don't know why." The guard responded, "But from the look in her eyes, it seemed like it was really important, something she had to do immediately before it was too late." He rushed his words with urgency and he was panting as he spoke. "Something she had to do before it was too late?" I repeated as I echoed it in my head over and over trying to figure out what was driving her to make these decisions. Nothing came up. "Yes, that's what I got from her facial expression. She went as far as to use her position as Luna to leave, she has never done this before." He was right, Aria did try to be humble anyway and seemed very shy when she wanted to request something from the maids, it was one of the things that drew me closer to her and I admired how she wasn't bossy and arrogant like most other girls. But with all the observation I've done on her, it still doesn't help to understand what she was thinking while maki
KILLIAN POVThe guards and I rushed to the place where Alpha Matthias had told me he kept Aria. I did not allow Alpha Matthias to go just yet, I needed to confirm what he had said so I left two guards there with him. I drove the car myself because I couldn't be patient enough and allowed myself to be driven there. My hands stirred the wheels shakily with anticipation. "Alpha Matthias had better told me the right address, if he fools me again, I'll slit his throat," I said out loud. I drove for about an hour before we arrived at the address. It was another abandoned house close to my pack's territory. It was a red mansion that supposedly had a bunker in one of the rooms there. "Alright, let's go find her!" I ordered the men with me and we all got off with weapons. I took a gun with silver bullets and a bat while the rest armed themselves with a regular gun. I don't want to kill innocent people because they are just following their Alpha but I'll kill another that tries anything w
KILLIAN POV "Now you all shouldn't be looking for Luna Aria, but a bunker in this mansion," I announced to everyone. "You remembered the rumors that this mansion had the first ever bunker made in this territory, well it was never confirmed but today we'll see for ourselves. Find it no matter what and whoever does, I'll reward him handsomely." "Yes, sir." They answered and then rushed off to find anything that could lead them to find out where the bunker was. "Any clue you find is also useful," I shouted out, although they were widely dispersed by this time, I hoped some of them heard what I said. The search took the rest of the day and we couldn't find any clue to get us anywhere, the bunker was securely hidden and I wondered how Alpha Matthias knew of it. Everyone was starting to get tired but Darius and I tried to encourage them on the search. Unfortunately, we couldn't see anything all day and it got too late. I had to pity my guards plus there weren't any torches or places
DARIUS POV"This is going to be a bloody fight," Aria said as she prepared herself for the fight. A weight lifted off my shoulders just seeing her. "But their blood is the one that'll flow…" I said then stepped inside the room, "On the ground." I completed my statement and then pointed my gun at the guy who tried to attack my Aria. He was wearing a mask, obviously to protect his nose from the stench, and they dared leave Aria here. My blood boiled and I fired the bullet. I shot the man in his right hand and he dropped to the ground and screamed in pain. Fortunately for him, it's just a regular bullet, and after removal, he'll heal quickly. "Aria are you okay?" Killian asked Aria, Aria stood there staring at us with widened eyes, she was clearly shocked to see us there. I walked over to her, "Come on answer, are you okay, were you hurt anywhere?" I asked as I scanned over her body for any injuries. "How did you guys find me here?" She asked, shocked. Slowly a smile broke on her
KILLIAN POVI turned back to see who shot the gun, it was the man who seemed to have a grudge against Darius. He was with my gun and I traced the direction his hand was pointing at to see a hole on Aria. "No!" I shouted as she stumbled back a few stairs, Darius and I tried to catch her back before we could, but she was already stumbling down the stairs. I suddenly heard a ringing in my head, every other sound went dim and everything seemed surreal. Darius and I rushed down quickly with our quick reflexes and we stopped her from rolling down any further. "Watch her," Darius instructed me through gritted teeth then he snapped the gun out of the man's hands before he could realize it and used it to put a hole in his chest. He went down and back to the place where the rest of her kidnappers were and I left my line of view but I heard several gunshots to know what happened to them. While he was killing everyone, I tried to keep Aria conscious. I slapped her cheeks continuously as I
DARIUS POV"Hold on a minute Killian, back up. Who is this person and why are you apologizing for not telling me about her?" Marcus asked, Killian was explaining like a broken record and it pissed me off. We didn't have time for any of that, we needed to attend to Aria's wound fast, and at the rate Killian was going, he didn't seem to be doing a great job. "She's our fucking mate!" I shouted on the phone, "Now no more questions because she's about to die. Help me give her first aid!" I walked past Killian and stood beside Aria. She was lying down unconsciously, her blood was soaking the entire white bedsheet. "Come on!" I urged him when he didn't start talking immediately. "She has lost a lot of blood and is losing more right now!" "Uh… alright, uh first we need to stop her from bleeding, and to do that, I need to know what happened to her, what type of injury she sustained?" Marcus asked, finally getting his head in the game. I was relieved that he was finally giving me directions
