It was a tough one. I had a feeling that choosing a new Gamma from the four candidates who had written down their names would be difficult. Most of all, the ambitions in the eyes of the women added to the tension already building up.

"You will be tested on three basis. The first is your physical strength, the second is your mental strength and the last will be based on Zeke's perception of you. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them" Vincent said.

Kathryn stepped forward and I sighed. I had no idea why she would risk her life and the life of her unborn child merely because she wanted to take Zeke's place. It was unnerving.

"Zeke is still unconscious. Will we have to wait for him to regain consciousness before we can officially become the pack's Gamma? What if he doesn't wake up?" She asked. I glared at her, my arms folded across my chest.

"You don't have to worry about that. Come to think of it, are you really sure you want to do this? You're pregnant" Jared said.
