It was the second day into my training and i couldn’t help but suspect Miera’s intention more, but right now i couldn’t say or do anything. Neither of the guys wanted to hear me as they thought it was best not to push my luck with Miera, i could see the doubt in Atlas eyes whenever i was asked to stay in one of the rooms for the meditation, no one was allowed in there and even Miera stayed outside with the rest of them.

It should’ve made me feel comfortable but it wasn’t enough.

“Laila, did you hear anything i said.” I turned to Miera and then Atlas, this time Ares didn’t show up and surprised me that he was missing this. He had not missed any of the training, he had been present from the very beginning and kept his eyes on me like a bird of prey.
