Chapter 93

ALEXIS' POV

I do not know for how long I kept passing out and waking up again. But whenever I wake up, my eyes are blurry and never entirely adjust to the darkness. Even in my unconscious state, I heard voices of some men and women. One of them was oddly familiar. Sometimes, I am fed food and water. Yet, I cannot remember most of the details because I keep sinking back to the darkness.

When I finally open my eyes again, this time the fogginess starts to fade away and I can clearly see the light. As my eyes adjust to the light, I squint my eyes from the banging ache that overclouds my head. My whole body feels weak and exhausted and I frown when I try to move my body, only to notice that I cannot. Again, I try to move my hands and feet but it wouldn't budge. Afraid that I might have gone crippled, I stare down at my body and horror overtakes me as I see that I have been tied down to a chair with strong ropes.

Fuck. Am I being kidnapped?

Now panicked, I lift my head and my eyes travel
