Logan's POV

Standing under the trees, in the lonely garden, surrounded by a fenced barbed wire with my head bowed and fists clenched in anger, I reflected on the incident that happened some days ago.

Unable to control my anger, I paced about. I felt like smashing something. Preferably Jasper's face.

"How could she be so stubborn?" I muttered loudly. It was annoying that Hazel was able to get under my skin like an irritant, ever since she set her feet into my house.

What would it cost her to be obedient?

Now, I went ahead to hurt her. What the hell possessed me to choke her? Her troubled eyes before I let her go, haunted my subconscious mind, playing like a broken record.

As if that was not enough, my wolf berated me for almost sending his mate six feet under.
