Chapter 70

Logan's POV

I was asleep when I heard sounds of running feet in the corridor. It had been a while since Hazel went to look for the doctor and she was not yet back and neither was Jasper nor Cassie.

I began to worry. The running sounds came again and then they were followed by sounds of screaming. What on earth was going on?

I got out of my bed and ripped the needles from my arm and rushed out of the door. I saw beds being wheeled down the corridor and I followed. On the way, I saw drops of blood that the janitors were cleaning. I sniffed the air. Hazel had been here and so had Jasper and Cassie. Was this their blood? What had happened to them?

"Excuse me? Did you see my friends by any chance? Two girls and a tall muscular guy?"

One of the janitors looked at me and his face was white with shock.

"They were your friends? I found them here on the floor covered in blood. Poor things. The girl and the guy were covered in cuts while the other one was barely breathing. They wheeled them off
