“Tell me the truth. Did you really sleep with Edmund?” His voice turned extremely cold when he repeated the question.

“Yes, I am marked by him too!” Emily spoke confidently but her tone was ice cold.

She moved collar of her blouse from her neck to show him the biting mark.

That day, when Brian met Emily near Edmund’s room, she was wearing a turtle neck. Hence, Brian was unable to see her mark but right now, it was completely visible.

Though, Brian could feel the change in her he was not sure, but today, she confirmed it.

“How can you do this to me, Emily!” Brian shouted in anger while holding her both shoulders tightly to the point of pain.

“I am sorry that I broke your heart but you also never loved me either! If you have ever loved me for real, you wouldn’t want someone else to satisfy you. I must have been enough for you just like I was enough for Edmund!” Emily replied in a plain voice but there was still a hint of hurt in her tone.
