Who is Serene, Edmund?

Suddenly, her heart began to race faster when her nostrils were hit with the familiar scent. She immediately turned to see Edmund sitting two chairs away from her.

“Edmund?” Emily looked at him with wide eyes.

She was not really expecting to see Edmund here.

Edmund, who was sitting two chairs away, turned towards her instantly when he heard her honey voice.

“Emily? What are you doing here, love?” He confused to see her in a club at the time of breakfast.

“Brian and I had a fight” Emily replied frustratedly and took a sip of her wine.

“How dare he fight with an angel like you! Such an ungrateful brat!” Edmund gritted his teeth.

Emily waited for him to enquire about their fight but he didn’t say another word. He just got up from his seat and sat next to Emily, drinking fruit juice.

“Are you not going to ask the reason?” Emily’s desperate a*s couldn’t help but ask.

“I can do everything if it makes you happy but are you going to tell me?” He asked in a sweet tone and she nodded in
