A bit of Disappointment

Rachael's POV.

"I need to tell him." I uttered, standing up from my bed and pacing to and fro my room.

«Are you sure you want to meet him right now?» Eliana asked. She sounded a bit skeptical.

I gave it a thought for about a minute or so and I was convinced it was the right thing to do. "Yes, I'm sure. I have to see him now."

I opened my door and walked out, heading to his room with my face beaming with smiles. As soon as I got to his door, I knocked hard on it but there was no response at all. I knocked again. No response still. The third, the fourth and the fifth time... Nothing at all.

I tried to turn the doorknob to open it myself but I realised that the door was locked. "Where could he be?" I asked in my mind.

At that very moment, I saw a male servant heading in my direction, so I waited patiently for him to get to me.
