“What?!” Luke and Zach chorused in astonishment.

Baron and Trenton just looked like they had known already. Ever since that day I had confessed it in Katherina’s room that I was her mate, Luke and Zach had not taken me serious, they thought I was just being jealous of Katherina’s relationship with Baron.

Trenton had been the only one who had not acted surprised, it would seem like he had always known or I did not know.

Baron just passed me a blank stare, same stare he also gave Katherina who by the way was staring at me as though I was crazy for doing what I had just done…or rather, saying what I had just said. But it was the truth, she had confirmed it herself.

“She’s your mate?” Dad asked, looking at us both.

“Yes. I only said it so there will be no more secrets that mom will not be aware of.” I told him.

Mom looked at me, but merely glanced at Katherina. Turning to me again, she said. “That’s good.” Then she stood up. “Is anyone up for lunch?”

“Yes.” Zach and Lucas nodded.
