Burning Hearts - Part I

With careful steps, I entered the guest bedroom, mindful of the creaking floorboards that might betray my presence. The morning sunlight streamed through the parted curtains, casting a warm, golden glow upon his peaceful countenance. Erdem lay there, his features relaxed in slumber, his hair tousled in a delightful disarray. The sunlight danced upon his face, highlighting the chiselled angles of his jawline and the gentle curve of his lips.

A soft smile played upon my own lips as I observed him, taking in every detail of his handsome visage. His lashes, long and dark, delicately brushed against his cheeks, lending an air of vulnerability to his otherwise strong and stoic demeanour.
