A frustrated sigh left my nostrils as I stood before the mirror. I have been having difficulty picking a dress since noon time. It was not like I did not have a nice date dress but I just felt unmotivated to go. The nice emerald green dress my father had gotten for me for my last birthday stared back at me as it lay on the arm of the chair.

Picking it up, I wore it and zipped it up. I scanned my table for any little makeup thing I could do. I took the mascara and applied it before adding some lip gloss to my damp lips. I did not want to pack my dark hair into a ponytail so I just left it down. I brushed through it with my fingers and wore silver earrings to match before picking up my purse and getting into my silvery-designed wedge.

Taking a satisfied look on my face, I pursed my lips. Was I missing something or was something missing me?
