"I think we should study it," I uttered. "We should learn more about the witches and their power. Maybe there's a way for us to harness it, to make our pack stronger. And at the same time, we must protect Hunter Grey from them."

Romulo looked at me for a long moment, his expression inscrutable. A minute later, he nodded. "You're right," he said slowly. "We can't ignore this. We need to find out more."

My wolf felt a surge of relief, but it quickly replaced my anxiety. What would happen next? Would the three of us be kicked out of the pack for going against the alpha's orders?
