My wolf did not get the chance to move on from Lilith's and Penelope's unexpected battle yet. However, it seems that their alpha, Ezekiel, was very serious about the deal he and our alpha sealed.

For that same reason, he immediately sent Lilith, Mark, and some of her werewolf guardians to extend help. To be our eyes and ears for us on or before the annual game.

Then I remembered Alpha Romulo once asked me if Ezekiel was interested in Penelope's wolf. Could that be the reason he sent his wolves to keep an eye on us?

If I were him, my wolf could have ordered me to silently get their revenge after embarrassing their werewolf guardians right in front of their pack members. Let alone, I manage to seal a deal with their alpha as my wolf leaves him with no choice.
