He yelled with so much force.
Both hands on his hair, showing how piss he is.
“And why can’t you just accept me as your mate?”
I yelled back. I am done cowering and I am ready to face any consequence after this.
“You will never understand.”
“Try me.”
“Accept my rejection and I’ll tell you everything.”
“Then keep your secret on your own.”
I snap back at him.
“Do you really want to torture yourself?”
He asks, challenging me.
“I would rather endure the pain of having a mate, than live a comfortable life alone and miserable.”
