Forty one

Enzo's POV

I dragged Tricia down to the cell block, her eyes welling up with tears as she looked back at my father's stern face. She begged and pleaded, but I was resolute. She had betrayed our pack and family, and now she had to face the consequences.

As we descended into the dark, damp cells, the air grew thick with the scent of mould and decay. Tricia's eyes darted around, taking in the cold, rigid walls and the rough stone floors.

"Please, Enzo," she whispered, her voice trembling. "Don't do this. I'll do anything. I don't belong down here. I am too good for these disgusting conditions. I will get ill from all these awful germs." She shrieked hysterically.

I stopped before a cell, its metal bars gleaming in the dim light. I pushed Tricia inside, and she stumbled forward, her hands reaching for me.

"Enzo, please," she whispered, her voice cracking with desperation.

I turned to face her, my eyes cold and hard. "You're going to have to face the consequences of your actions," I said
