Chapter 9

“What just happened?” Kai asked, confused running his hands through his hair. He saw Ryland was in danger from the CCTV he had connected round the house to keep watch of him whenever he seemed to be bizarre.

“Nothing.” Ryland replies nonchalantly. His eyes still gazed at the door Jasmine had run out from.

“You can’t tell me anything, the whole kitchen is shattered with broken bottles and the cellar seems completely empty and you were kiss-” he cuts his word short and takes a deep breath not to get so mad.

“You were in near danger, Ryland, you would have hurt her,” he says, his voice calming down a bit.

“Well I didn't, she tamed me.” he says

“Well good for you, but we still aren't sure who she is or where she came from.”

“You can keep figuring that out. That's your work from now on, bring reports back to me.” Ryland orders him to get up from his spot and walks out the same door Jasmine has passed through.
