“You need my help with two patients?” I inquired incredulously, gazing at Remus with my eyebrows tilted up.

He raised both of his hands, gesturing towards the only other conscious male in the room. I looked up and noticed his features seemed familiar. Next, I was hit with a concentrated dose of his subtle fragrance of freshly churned dirt and earthy moss when he turned in my direction.

“Seth.” I said surprised, noting his distinct lanky demeanor as he brushed aside the strands of his pale blonde hair while rotating to face me head-on.
