It was the same dream, yet so different.

I didn't need to move. The moment I was present, I was standing there, in the center of the large living room. There was no furniture, and the dim natural light was the only thing.

The wolf was on the other side. This time, it didn't give chase. It didn't move forward, and neither did it growl. If not for its large shadowy gaze and bright red eyes, its presence was as silent as a ghost.

For the first time, the dream felt different. It was calm. It was still. And I was at a loss of what to do.

The seconds or whatever time it was, felt like hours, yet none of us moved. We were at a stalemate, and the unknowns were vast.

This time I felt my strength come back. I could have moved, but what was I supposed to do? Without thinking, I took a step forward. And everything changed completely.
