TEARS

Rose had noticed when the black Lexus drove into the Western Hosbon and the driver pulled the car in Sam's frontage. She was happy and surprised at the same time that Sam came back quickly. She was thinking that Sam might spend a full month in her Aunty's place but Sam only managed to stay there for a week.

She waited for Sam to go inside and drop her bag, arrange her clothes back into her cloth hangers, have her lunch; that's if she had an appetite and got a rest. When Rose felt that Sam should have been done with everything, she slipped into a green, short gown and went to knock at Sam's door.

She knocked severally on the door but no one seemed to come out and open it. For a while, she wondered If it wasn't Sam that she had seen earlier or had she dropped by to pick something that she had forgotten to take along with her.
