Chapter Hundred&One

Bree's POV

I sat on the driver’s seat in my car and awaited his arrival. What was taking him so long?

It was already late and I didn’t like the fact I was out here all alone.

Thankfully, Ronda was with me, in the backseat.

“Where is he?” She grouse and made a bubble with her gum.

I looked at her from the mirror in front of me and sighed. I was also losing my patience.

Not long after, I saw him afar and flashed my headlights at him as a signal.

Immediately, he hastened his footsteps and ran to the car I opened the front door for him and he got in.

“What took you so long?” I growled at him as he fixed his hands into his Jacket pockets.

“Hey, I’m sorry, okay? It wasn’t intentional” he apologized.

“Well, you better be sure” Ronda said from the back.

I decided to swallow it down. At least, he was here now.

I reached for my bag and brought out the huge envelope, dropping it on his legs.

His eyes gleamed.

“That’s just half of the payment,” I told him.

“I’ll give you the other half and more w
